  • Program:TV TOWN HALL, SignaSys' first national tour, is directed at both public and commercial station personnel interested in the current state of the industry, although facility people will also greatly benefit greatly from the event. After a brief presentation by Jim Boston, "TV Town Hall" will provide a forum for engineering and management people to share their views on "hot topics" facing us today, as well as what's next in the future of broadcasting. The road tour also provides the basis for research for a follow-up book to Jim Boston's previous bestseller, DTV Survival Guide.

    Jim Boston has been in the television industry for over 25 years. He has done work in the industry ranging from equipment maintenance to board- and system-level design engineering, and has also held management positions at Scripps-Howard, The Evers Group, and as Engineer-In-Charge on both production and satellite
    trucks.
