Monitor and analyze the technical integrity of the A/V workflow for the Media Control Center. Propose and implement modifications as needed.
Collaborate with Systems, Tools, and Production Technical Leads to develop automated software solutions and workflow process control.
Collaborate with Post Production and external facilities to meet technical specifications of all deliverables.
Supervise the technical Quality Assurance of all deliverables.
Create and document workflow protocols and procedures.
Design and implement A/V systems to support, maintain and advance production and corporate needs considering past history as well as future growth and scalability.
Provide high-level support for users and team members, offer guidance and training on applications and hardware.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring of the A/V Engineering Team on specification, installation, commissioning, and support of hardware and software.
Interface with vendors and manufacturers for support, trouble-shooting, and development of products.
Delegate projects and tasks to team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Five years + experience in Film, Broadcast or Post Production
Industry expertise of SMPTE standards and recent technology
Comprehensive understanding of current trends and future direction of Film and Video Production and Post Production.
Knowledge of color timing and SAN systems a plus
Strong leadership skills and ability to guide, teach, and delegate.
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with others in a collaborative environment
Must be able to perform well both independently and with a team, under stressful situations that require a quick response
